1. My coworkers and I are supported in openly discussing problems and concerns about college matters. Disagreements about college matters are viewed as opportunities for dialogue and are dealt with directly.

2. I believe that I have influence within my work environment. For example, suggestions I make are considered, and I receive useful feedback if they are rejected.
3. My supervisor makes the distinction clear between who makes decisions and who influences decisions and communicates that in a supportive way.
4. Decisions in my area of the college are well thought out but it takes too long for decisions to be made.
5. Once a decision is made it is implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
6. Meetings in my area are effective. Time is not wasted. Appropriate people attend. Participation is shared. When needed, we solve problems and decisions are made.
7. My work environment and supervisor foster my creativity and ingenuity. New ideas I have for improving work processes, communications and other aspects of my work are encouraged. It is easy in our climate to suggest or try something new.
8. My job responsibilities and my supervisor's expectations are clear to me. My job responsibilities compliment my coworkers' and do not unnecessarily duplicate anyone else's job.
9. I believe that my skills fit well with my tasks. My skills and the skills of others are being used effectively.

14. I understand the vision of the college and how the strategic plan affects the direction of the college.
15. I have been properly trained and oriented to perform the jobs I've been assigned.
16. I understand clearly what is important for my coworkers and me to focus on, and I am not diverted into less important tasks.
17. My coworkers and I follow through on our commitments. When we are not able to do so there are supportive ways to make sure that the task is completed.
18. There is one person who is ultimately accountable for each task or project, including group projects.
19. My coworkers and I are appreciated for work well done. Supervisors and coworkers let us know what we did well and provide positive feedback for improvement.
20. My coworkers and I have professional relationships. When we disagree, we deal with the disagreement directly, and it does not negatively affect the working environment.
