Cedar weaving class for ELC parents, family members

On Sept. 13, Northwest Indian College (NWIC) will host a weaving class for parents and family members of children who attend NWIC’s Early Learning Center, Lummi Head Start, Lummi Nation School and Eagleridge Elementary School. Free child care will be provided at the event.
The free event, part of NWIC’s Sacred Little One’s project, will include dinner. Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. in the college’s Log Building and the class, which will be taught by Theresa Parker and Ethel Warbus, will start at 6 p.m.
