Native American Women/Girls and Men/Boys Conference

A conference for Native American families focusing on wellness. Participants spend two nights at camp. Workshops and wellness activities will focus on the return of a healthier way of living utilizing traditional and contemporary strategies. Camp Huston is located in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade mountains one hour east of Seattle.

 

Things you will need to bring: Swimsuit, towels, bedding (sleeping bags/blankets,pillow) toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, good hiking shoes, photos for picture plaques.

Children's Age: Preferable at least 8 years old and chaperoned by an adult at all times as there will be limited youth activities.

Sleep Arrangements: Some lodges will be separate for Women/Men.There will be some family lodges.

 

Some Workshops

Basket Weaving, Cultural Sharing, Storytelling, Financial Education, Native Plant ID/Hike to Wallace Falls,  and Traditional Plants Medicine Uses.

$325.00 Fee includes lodging and meals
