The following presentations, examples, and templates are provided to aid NWIC faculty in creating rubrics for the assessment of student learning. THere are also numerous webpages that provide excellent resourses and delve more deaply into the use of rubrics as not only ways to assess student learning but to also guide and clearly communicate student expectations. Note that these resorces are several years old and refer to aspects of previous assessment plans but still have excellent information about the use and development of rubrics.
