NWIC to Host Saturday Science Adademy this Saturday (March 11th)

This week, Saturday Mar 11th, NWIC will be hosting the Saturday Academy once again for Native American youth 7th-12th grade.  Students will participate in hands-on learning and investigate our dynamic plant earth and the galaxy above.  This is a great opportunity to explore astronomy and how our planet is impacted by the sun, the moon and so much more! Students will be at NWIC in the morning and then attending the WWU Planetarium for an afternoon star show and video. Moreover, youth will hear from NWIC students about their personal experiences in college, both the challenges and the joys of higher learning. The event will begin at 10AM in the NWIC Log Building (#7A) and end around 3PM.

This is a free event with lunch provided! For a campus map please click here. To see other upcoming events please see our calendar.
