Featuring mini-sumo competitions
The Tulalip Robotics Microexposition 2007 will feature a mini-sumobot competition and exhibitions of various robots. The Microexposition is for robot enthusiasts of all kinds from beginner to expert. It's not necessary to own a robot to compete in the contest. Just email or call for more information.
There will also be a premiere of the short film SumoBuds, a project of two Tulalip Tribes members.
Monty Reed will be demonstrating his robotic LifeSuit at Noon. Monty's LifeSuits won lifting and walking competitions at the recent RoboGames 2007. More about Monty and his LifeSuit can be found out by visiting his website www.theyshallwalk.org.
Bob Cook, a software engineer, has been developing robots since 2001 and has won mini-sumo and other robot competitions including Coolest Robot at the Western Canadian Robot Games 2006. Bob is involved with organizing Robothon 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University in 1990.

Awards will be given all competitions and some exhibitions.
