All Are Welcome for One-on-one Tax Return Preparation or Self-Help Services
This year, Northwest Indian College is partnering with Lummi CDFI and Lummi Nation to offer free tax help to people with low-to-moderate income. The Lummi VITA site is located at BLDG 20 at the Cooperative Extension building and free tax preparation is available starting Wednesday, January 20 through April 15, 2016. The Lummi VITA site will be open every Monday and Wednesday from 12pm-3pm and 5-7pm. You can now choose if you want one-on-one assistance or if you want to do it yourself with available assistance nearby to help you if needed.
- Face-to-face, all you have to do is bring your documentation and we’ll do the rest.
- Do it yourself, all you have to do is bring your documentation and we’ll get you started, answer your questions and help you file your own tax return. You’ll have access to free tax software that will build your confidence in preparing your own return. Go to: www.myfreetaxes.com
