Join us online for NWIC’s Fall 2026 Virtual New Student Orientation. Orientation is designed to help new students feel welcomed\, prepared\, and connected before classes begin on September 21. \nWho Should Attend?\nVirtual Orientation is especially recommended for students who: \n\nAre enrolled primarily in online or distance education courses\nLive outside the Lummi campus area\nAttend NWIC through an extended campus site\nWill not regularly access services in person at the Lummi Campus\nAre unable to travel to the September 18 in-person orientation\nWant to learn how to access NWIC services and resources remotely\n\nStudents who live near the Lummi Campus and plan to regularly attend classes or access services in person are encouraged to attend the In-Person New Student Orientation on September 18 when possible. \nWhat to Expect\nDuring Virtual Orientation\, students will learn how to successfully navigate NWIC from wherever they are\, including: \n\nHow to access important online student systems and resources\nAcademic advising and enrollment support\nFinancial aid and student service information\nAcademic success resources\nHow to connect with faculty\, staff\, and other students\nWhere to go when you need help\nWays to stay connected to the NWIC community while learning from a distance\n\n🎁 Enter to Win a $500 Gift Card!\nStudents who participate in orientation can enter for a chance to win a $500 gift card at the end of orientation. \n🚐 Need a Ride?\nTransportation assistance is available. Students can use the Van Transportation Sign-Up to request transportation for orientation. \nRegister for Orientation\nPlease complete the Fall 2026 New Student Orientation In-Person & Virtual Event Sign-Up Form so we know whether you’ll be joining us September 17 or September 18. \nClasses begin Monday\, September 21\, 2026.
