COLLEGE PATHWAYS BRIDGE PROGRAM

Welcome! We are excited about your interest in participating in the College Native Pathways Bridge Program & Summer Camp through Northwest Indian College (NWIC). The Native Pathways Program is offered to students entering 10th– 12th grade during the 2017-18, 2018-19 school years. Participants of the program will engage in hands-on activities including After School Tutoring 2-Week Summer CampSaturday Academy, & College Previews to help prepare for college and strengthen knowledge in areas of math, science, reading, writing, and the college admissions process. Northwest Indian College is committed to helping Native youth engage in meaningful opportunities to experience and discover their potential as a learners in higher education.  So let’s get started and have some fun! Eligibility Requirements

  • Enrolled or 1st generation decedent of a Federally Recognized Tribe
  • Have completed 9th-12th grade during the 2017-18 school year
  • Commit to attend the entire summer bridge program (2 weeks)

Application Process:

Interested students must complete the following forms:

  1. Complete APPLICATION – Native Pathways Summer Camp for the NWIC College Pathways Bridge Program
  2. Emergency contact information (provided during first event)
  3. Continuing Education Unit form (for students ages 16+)

Completed applications should be sent to: Nathanael Davis by email (ndavis@nwic.edu) or by regular mail (2522 Kwina Road, Bellingham, WA 98226).

SUMMER Camp Dates (2019)

Pathways Camp 1            Monday, June 24th – Friday, July 5th, 2019

Pathways Camp 2            Monday, July 8th – Friday, July 19th, 2019

Information:

There is no cost for participating in this program and all meals will be provided by Northwest Indian College.
