DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating Indigenous Peoples’ Day as we learn from and honor the enduring leadership of Indigenous people near and far in caring for our resilient Earth.\n\n\n\nOctober 9\, 2023\n5:00pm – 8:00pm\nWex’liem Community Building\n2100 Blackhawk Way\, Bellingham\, WA\n\n\nWe will enjoy a delicious salmon dinner to begin our time together. Blackhawk Singers will provide powerful song and dance. And we are honored to have Evan Adams — Coast Salish physician and star of Smoke Signals — as our keynote speaker.\n\n\n\nThis event is sponsored by the Community Consortium for Cultural Recognition.
