Hidden Silence: How does Education Shape a Nation? A roundtable conversation with Bev Sellars (Xat’sull First Nation) and Anna Lees (Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians descendant) and Hollie Mackey (Northern Cheyenne) discussing the long term impacts of residential and boarding schools for Native people in the US and Canada.
This event will be held on Western Washington University’s campus in Miller Hall 152 on April 6 and 2pm.
In collaboration with the WWU Tribal Relations Office, we invite all NWIC community members to attend and participate in this important conversation.
