Salish Sea Research Center Hosts 16 Indigenous Undergrads

This summer the Salish Sea Research Center hosted 16 Indigenous undergrads for a paid internship, marking its eighth year of the program.

Students had the opportunity to work in the lab and out in the field on various projects. One of their place-based studies looked at insects as indicators for water quality in the Nooksack River!
