!["I wouldn’t have known which direction I wanted to go if NWIC didn’t give me the resources and opportunities to choose my own path." "My Indigenous name is T’la’li Palas — it means, 'the one they come to for information.' I have always wondered how I would live up to that name. Now I understand it is by gaining the knowledge to make a difference in my community." – Justice Black-Williams (Lummi, Native Environmental Science student)](https://nwicis.wpenginepowered.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/justice-fish-350x250.jpg)
