Registrations are accepted through the last day of the quarterly registration period. All financial obligations must be cleared before a student may register for a subsequent quarter. Program of Study students must consult with an advisor prior to registration.

DOCUMENTATION must be provided to enroll as a resident student. Contact: Enrollment Services, 360-392-4215 for specific instructions.

Some classes are specified as Continuous Enrollment, such as Learning Assistance Center or Independent Learning courses. Students may enter these classes anytime during the first three weeks of Fall, Winter and Spring quarters and during the first four weeks of Summer quarter.
Certain courses are listed for variable credits. Students must indicate the number of credits to be completed on the enrollment form. The number of credits may be changed through the drop/add process during the first three weeks of the quarter.
The College Curriculum Committee may determine that traditional letter grading is inappropriate for a particular credit course. If so, the course will be designated S/U grading and will be so described in the catalog. Students may also select to be graded on the S/U system in a particular course by marking the appropriate box on the registration or add/drop form. This selection must be made no later than the end of the third week of Fall, Winter and Spring quarters and no later than the end of the second week of Summer quarter. After those dates, the grading option in force is final and may not be changed.
Students may select S/U grading only in courses that are electives in their programs. This grading mode is not appropriate in courses applied to the general education requirements or to courses in the student’s major area of concentration. Students are also cautioned that overuse of the S/U system may cause concern by employers and four-year colleges.
Students may register to audit any class by marking the appropriate box on the registration form. Regular tuition costs and fees apply. Audit courses do not carry credit and are not computed in GPA calculations. Students may change to audit status through the first eight weeks of Fall, Winter and Spring quarters and the fourth week of Summer quarter.
Students may change classes during the official registration period by completing an add/drop form. Program of Study students should consult with an advisor before changing classes to insure consistency with program goals.
Students who wish to withdraw from college or from one or more classes must complete an add/drop form. Students may officially withdraw from any course through the first eight weeks of Fall, Winter and Spring quarters and the fourth week of Summer quarter. Official withdrawals occurring after the third week of Fall, Winter and Spring quarters and the second week of Summer quarter are posted on the student’s permanent record.
