NWIC AIBL Wins Chapter of the Year
We want to offer a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our students who have placed in recent competitions! NWIC students participated in the American Indigenous Business Leaders (AIBL) National Conference and were announced as the National AIBL Chapter of the Year – Tribal College division. NWIC AIBL President Lillian Hall was also a keynote speaker for the event
“I would like to personally congratulate every student that participated in this year’s AIHEC student conference and AIBL National Conference. I can only imagine the hours each student dedicated to preparing for each competition and to showcase your gifts and talents, while balancing your current classes and preparing for finals this winter quarter! I also thank and acknowledge the NWIC faculty and staff for committing their time, attention, and expertise to coaching and empowering our students to compete against other talented Indigenous students from TCUs across Indian Country. These opportunities can help build the confidence of our students as they strive towards their educational goals, prepare for their future careers, and create new friendships and memories that can last a lifetime. To our students: We, at NWIC, join your families and communities in celebrating your achievements and success. We’re proud of you. Go Eagles!” President Guillory said.
