In a first for Northwest Indian College, all courses for all students will be offered tuition-free for students.
Free summer courses are being made available to advance student success, particularly in an effort to close equity gaps, support first- and second-year student success, increase the success of transfer students, bring back stopped out students, and offer targeted courses that historically have a high drop and fail rates to give students an opportunity to catch up.
The summer quarter is a reduced 8-week session, compared to the academic year 10 or 11 week courses. Regular tuition is normally $99/credit, and fees for a full-time student are $135, so a student taking a full course load (12 credits) can expect to save $1,323 in tuition. Although the courses are free, the courses are still part of a student’s permanent academic record.
Registration for Summer & Fall Quarters opens Monday, May 16, 2022.
